Since day one like all babies, Laine was pricked several times and tested. Then on day two of life like most baby boys he got circumcised... After being cut Laine had too much fluid in his tummy so they pumped it. Then as you can see, he now has jaundice and has to wear a light around twenty-four hours a day for a few days. Hopefully soon he'll find out not all days hafta be bad and filled with ice and snow...

I've never seen the lights that wrap around the baby before. As sad as it might be for a little while, I think that looks awesome compared to the huge lights you used to have to keep them under constantly. He is SOOOOOOO cute! He is so tiny all wrapped up in his blankets. We will show him the good times in life over Christmas! I can't wait!
Poor guy! Its always so sad when tiny little babies cry because there is no way to explain whats happening. At least its all happening now and he probably won't remember any of it.
autumn He IS adorable. I cant believe Little laine is her. how sweet. I am so sorry that he has this extra baggage. monitoring, pricks, pokes, I have a hard time not crying when they do that to my babies. what a good mother taking so many cute pictures. I hope you are enjoying this time. it can be very fun. cant wait to meet him. we are praying for you/Laine.
Love Emily
That blanket is so cute though! You have your very own "glow-worm" baby (But I must say Laine is far far cuter than the glow worms I had as a kid!!) Congrats Autumn! He's beautiful... I mean handsome!
Is it hard to believe you're parents now? What a fun time in your lives!
