Weekend Camping

Autumn and I went on a little adventure this last weekend. The weather has been perfect and I have been getting more and more excited to get outside and to the mountains. We went friday after I was done with my classes and tests and headed up to Targhee National Forest. We went up as far as we could on a forest road and found a nice spot next to a little stream. Set up our tent and spent the rest of the afternoon sitting in the sun and exploring a little, mostly sitting in the sun though. Spent the night listening to weird noises outside. The next morning we drove up another forest road until the snow was too deep and went on a little hike looking for a spot to do some bear hunting. We found a cool open spot in an aspen grove, set up some bait and did some sitting. I like sitting, autumn took a nap kinda. We looked pretty cool in our cammo set up, I'm sure we were invisible. =) Then I (autumn) started to get sick and really hungry and the rain was starting to fall so Chad was nice enough to let us pack up and head out. On our journey back to the car we met a strange fellow that told us our bear spray was not handy enough (on outside of Chad's pack) if a grizzly were to come. We then finally made it back to our car and ate some foods so I wouldn't die and made it back to Rexburg just in time for Kelli's basketball game. After we watched Kelli be an all star we attended the Stake Adult Session of Conference and quickly ran over to Chad's own basketball game after that... he lost. Now it is Sunday and Chad made me pancakes with bacon and eggs right after Stake Conference, it was Yummy!
