Laine got 11 stitches in his eyebrow last night. He was playing "chase" with Daddy and got a little excited and fell into the corner of the wall and sliced open his forehead. He seemed pretty shocked at first about all the blood in his eye, but handled it all really well. From the size of the cut we thought this would certainly need some stitches... So we brought him into the ER and were there for a few hours. Laine then got sent home with 11 stitches, which is ironically the Christiansen Family Number (one up side to that many stitches) :) The doctor did say he will have the scar for the rest of his life, but hopefully it will shrink! He is such a cute good boy! He will get the stitches removed on Friday...

I am glad you are excited about the number of stiches. I wish I would of had 41 when I got mine. And tell Laine, scars build character.

He is such a cute little thing. Sad. But I'm glad he responded so well.
Oh my gosh! What a trooper! Because he's a boy, he'll probably love his scar. Besides, anyone can have a perfectly blemish-free face. But not everyone can have cool scars!
OMG poor little guy!!! That muct have hurt so bad! he is a tough little man!! :)
