Its getting warmer in Rexburg

I guess some people have wanted to know a little bit more about what Autumn and I have going on in our lives and so we decided to start this blog. It'll be fun to be able to share with family all the exciting things we've got going on, or lack thereof. I have just been doing school all day everyday it feels like and which is mostly true. I've got an anatomy test, a chemistry test and a math test this week, so that is whats gonna keep me busy this next week. I have also been playing some basketball in the competitive rec league. I play for the bruins. Its pretty fun, I like my teammates and we are becoming fast friends. We had our first game last friday night. Was pretty close and we ended up winning, I scored 10 points if anybody wants to know. Autumn and I watched Kelli's game right after mine and she won as well scoring ten points, so we're all around winners so far. Sunday we did the traditional chocolate chip cookies and watched a little planet earth with family and friends. I think these last cookies i made might compete for my best ones ever so far. Its kinda funny how every week you never know if my cookies will be too edible. Hmm just thinkin about more interesting things. I made a list of dental schools I will apply to the next application cycle in june 2011. Still a long ways out but I've got a full schedule of things to do before then. Its getting close and more exciting. I've got to do awesome my last couple semesters to get the competitive grades I need. Its fun. I guess I've got bad news though, for all my family in Washington (mostly Grandma Newton), I don't think I'm going to apply to school there. I'm just not smart enough or from Washington enough to get in. I am applying to a place in Oregon though, thats kinda close right.
I wonder if Autumn will want to type anything. Autumn made soup tonight, it was very good. I'm going to eat some leftover cookies and see if Autumn wants to add a message.
I would like to add... I have been working at a Salon in Rigby (15 min south) for the past three months, but recently quit last week. As for things to keep me busy now I continue to clean a lot and as Chad mentioned I am cooking more and more. It will be fun to figure out more hobbies I can do from the home. As for our "caterpillar baby" we are just ten weeks along and excited for our next visit to the doctor -never thought I would say that. I am hoping to be able to go down to Utah in a week to see Heather and her new baby, but you never know if it will show up on time. As for life here though it is finally getting warmer so I spend a bit of time at the park across the street reading and walking. Otherwise, I certainly inherited my mothers hobby and organize my house till my hearts delight.
